The Emmanuel Evangelical Cemetery is one of many cemeteries along Church Road in rural Cass County, Nebraska. Though the Emmanuel Evangelical Church no longer stands, the memory of its congregation lives on through the grave markers adorning the church yard.

Visit this unique burial ground and hear the story of how the Emmanuel Evangelical Church came to be. We will visit many cemetery residents and learn their unique stories, including a family burdened with the loss of seven infants, a generous mans refusal to permit a nearby town be named after him, and the story of a woman making dinner for her husband and team in a home that was being moved from one farm to another.
